Join the Benue Living Lab.

Displacement interrupts a life, but it doesn't have to end a career before it starts. Apply as a participant, nominate a cohort from your community, or volunteer your expertise as a mentor.

Three Ways In

There's a place for you in the Lab.

The Benue Living Lab is a structured pathway—selection, training, certification and a genuine shot at employment—built for participants, the community leaders who reach them, and the mentors who guide them.

Participants

Join as a Participant

Apply directly or get nominated by a partner organisation. A short intake looks at motivation and circumstances, not credentials—no prior tech background required. Training covers practical AI tools, digital productivity, entrepreneurship, data skills and remote work, delivered in person with devices and connectivity provided. Graduates receive certification and move into job-readiness coaching and placement support.

Nominate a Cohort

You already know who in your community is ready for this but has never had a door open to them. Submit a shortlist through your organisation and our team handles intake and enrollment. Every cohort runs under strict safeguarding—background-checked facilitators, protection protocols, and confidential handling of personal histories.

Volunteer Your Expertise

If you work in AI, software, digital marketing, business, data or remote work, one hour a week is one of the highest-value things you can give—group sessions, one-on-one check-ins, or project reviews, remote or on-site. No teaching experience required, just consistency.
